I've many new poems to add, just added "Across A Desert Knight".     Will be adding them over the next couple days.   Heading out to Catalina Island on the 11th and hope to take some awesome shots from the air there.

A trip in hell.    I got caught in the backcountry mountains between the deserts of California and the ocean.  I was riding the motorcycle and a huge thunderstorm, one of many passing by yesterday, began to surround me with lightning and thunder.   I was soaked through and the cold from riding caused me to shake so bad I had to stop.  I pulled into Pala Casino and had a mocha.  About a half hour later, I saw a break in the clouds, very small one, and took the chance.  I remounted and rode into the waning rain.  The roads were puddling water and runnoff covered some parts of them.  I ducked walked the bike through the worst of it.  Home safe and sound, I was chilled to the bone.   Ah! Another day in Southern California.

NASA invites people of all ages to join the lunar exploration journey by sending their names to the moon aboard the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft, which is scheduled for launch in late 2008. At the Send Your Name to the Moon website, participants can submit their information, print a certificate and have their name entered into a database. The database will be placed on a microchip that will be integrated onto the spacecraft. The deadline for submitting names is June 27, 2008. I've added all my poems now, almost 200, and I've updated my Awards with new ones.   The website is working again, after being down for almost a week due to my provider upgrading the servers.

7-21-07   Updating the site with all my poetry.   This is quite a project, as I've been writing for years.   Hope to have it all posted in the next week or so.   If you have a suggestion, or wish to see a change, let me know.   I have attempted to match the music with the poems, but sometimes that just refuses to happen.   I have left off music on some pages as it distracts from the serious nature of the poetry.     If you encounter a error, something omitted, or other problem, please drop a line here!

2008 Trips

Planning for this trip in 2008.   Would be fun!  Also a Grand Canyon Trip.  Trailer the bikes and park there, then ride around the rim.
