She watches me
and I watch her
two lives joined
two heart beats equal one
apart but always together

Trickles become streams
Streams become rivers
Rivers become seas
How mighty is she

The strength of two
becomes the wisdom of one
and life softly
becomes a new
story

Of ages and eons
and wonders of sunsets
with waterfalls of

magic and a new life
has just begun
deep in the light
of our shining sun

Where the fern grows
and the shadows know

wisdom lives
and Mother Earth shows
her children love
and they soon come to know

the breath of her nature
and the truth of her tales

Here she exists
in tranquility

While we are busy
with life's trails

she waits softly
within the shadows

of our hearts for she knows
upon the winds of love

we will always return...

A beautiful poem... enchanting. This was a very natural collaberation I can tell. A lovely picture of nature you have painted here... each with your own hue of colors that blend so well.

      Awe-inspiring!!!

Beautiful! I especially like your chosen background. It is like you two are sky writers as one, writing poetry upon the clouds. This is a very wise and powerfully majestic masterpiece, reflecting earth in all her glory, showering its peaceful sunshine over the earth in rays of hope and love. Great work!! Thank you for sharing!!! Peace, Cyn

Thank you. Words cannot describe the beauty of natures life. She lives in all of us in ways we only feel with our hearts and souls. Her impact is the next breath you take and her love is displayed in so many ways... harvests, oceans, rivers, lakes....

Goodness! This is such a touching poem that speaks volumes if one will but listen. "Upon the winds of love, we will always return," yes, and there's comfort in the knowing. This left me with such a serene feeling and the words flow with such a magical gentleness, an ease, that's hard to define. And, yet, it is so powerful in its message! Bravo, you two! Well done!--Kelly

Thank you. I've found that its easy to write a poem about something you love and that is especially true when writing with a truly gifted poet like Tender Wolf.
As our world declines its former glory and the leaves turn brown and fall. We should pray to preserve ourselves but not at the true price... the loss of our soul. For certainly Mother Nature is our soul.
    • I really enjoyed the poem, so much wisdom and emotion, you have really outdone yourself, Blessing John
