Poetry By Chuck

The Freeway is my home.
The place that I prefer to roam.
Passing cars, they're standing still.
Just a twist of wrist and some skill.

In the distance I can hear it.
Ah! A harley, I'm gettin' near it.
Increase throttle, I'm flying high.
Catching and passin' that harley by.

My Goldwing flies on tonight!
Eatin' the lunch of that other bike.
He's eating bugs in a windy fight.
I'm flying by in certain pre-flight!

I twist my wrist, and shift to fifth.
The Honda jumps out...LOVING IT!
Then I crank it back in protest.
A passin' Squad car, I must desist.

Approaching home with my freeway flier.
Another 'No Biggie', wrinkle free attire.
I ride it down from 100 plus.
Off the freeway this thing's a bus! lol.

I already had a great experience...last night! I left for a evening ride into the desert and wound up 50 miles from home and 14 miles from the next little town and then the clutch cable broke. Now...stuck, I got out my trusty cell phone, climbed a hill to get connection and called my bro. He came...I already jury rigged a correction, and we drove it home. Dang cable!! lol.

Thank goodness for cell phones!
Now I honestly don't know much about bikes.....so I wouldn't know the difference between the Harley, Honda or Goldwing. I do know what a Schwinn stingray with highrise handlebars and a banana seat is.  Wanna go riding?

I have owned a few bikes myself, Honda, Kali, and a yamahammer (slang for Yamaha). If you were into dragbikes, ever hear of the Chrome-Demon?
Well done and Yes there is nothing like running the highway on a bike! Except drag racing one!!!
