Where do I go when I travel the long road in the night.
The twists, the turns, that churning mental plight.
When the pressures of my life, chew away at my sanity.

How do I cope with this insanity?
Where does relief lie?
Is there a pill for it?
I'd take it

Deep into the dark of the night
as I stir in my sleep
and dream such things
of pain.

When the constant drum
of obsession comes
and tries the strength
of a man.

I fight the battle of honor
and keep the demon away.
Yet, he fights back
...so well.
